Wearing a wedding dress can be a dream come true, but there are several common mistakes brides can make. Here are some top ones to avoid:

 1. Ignoring Comfort: Prioritizing style over comfort can lead to a miserable experience. Make sure you can move, sit, and dance in your dress. Choose beautiful, modern and comfortable wedding dress. Remember that you will need to spend all day in the dress.

 2. Not Considering the Venue: A dress that’s perfect for a grand ballroom might be not as appropriate as for a beach wedding. When choosing your wedding dress – think about the location, weather and setting. Do not wear dress all over sparkles in a countryside wedding.

 3. Poor Fit: A dress that’s too tight, too loose, will be unflattering. Ensure you have multiple fittings with seamstress to adjust dress to your body individually.

 4. Wrong Underwear: Choose seamless, well-fitting pieces that complement the style and fabric of your dress. Usually, we suggest to choose nude underwear, not white.

 5. Uncomfortable shoes: New shoes can be painful. Wear them around the house before the big day to avoid discomfort.

 6. Over-Accessorizing: Too many accessories can detract from the beauty of your dress. Choose a few key pieces that complement your overall look. Do not exaggerate.

 7. Skipping Hair and Makeup Try-outs: Ensure your hair and makeup styles work well with your dress by scheduling trials well in advance. You will not be able to change anything in wedding morning. It is also a very good way to get to know professionals who will be with you.

 8. Waiting Too Long to Shop: Shopping for a wedding dress should start at least 6-9 months in advance to allow time for alterations.

Consider these tips and you will feel and look fabulous in your wedding day!

Love, Amelii.
